With grey having been the going colour the last number of years it was a refreshing change to have a project where shades of blue were the dominant colour. Against a soft white background layers of cream, linens and blue created a soothing palette. The loft had an industrial look with a reclaimed wood slab table being the focal point. A trio of windows above allowed for the window coverings to become part of the table’s overall design. A faux leather valance with nail heads in midnight blue, hid the Hunter Douglas textured blackout roller shade needed for darkening the room and the side panels added another layer of texture to offset the faux leather valance. The table came to life framed with this soft treatment.
