Recently I found myself in New York over the Thanksgiving Holiday. The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade ushers in the Christmas season with an overnight transformation. This year I was invited by Hunter Douglas to enjoy a three day trip to the big city and what a great experience! I’m always amazed at the innovative way that people decorate their windows and in this case it was the big names in retail that stole the show. A walk down Fifth Avenue at night brought the Christmas season to life for me! Retailers spend months planning and hours of decorating for a few short weeks of wonder. There is something in all of us that appreciates beauty bringing life to the soul. Enjoy all things beautiful this season!
